The family’s good cheer about moving into the new house quickly morphed into confusion and, ultimately, panic: their Kitchen Nano Garden could only produce something called “plants,” flavorless and inedible decorative centerpeieces. Perhaps they were meant for the dining room table? Soon the table was full, green and lush, a real convesation piece, but of course the family couldn’t invite guests over for dinner—what was there to eat, and where? They took turns watering the table until, one by one, they starved to death. The funerals were not catered.
